Ford Taurus Usados en Venta en Freeport, IL

I purchased my 1991 Ford Taurus GL with a 2.5L 4 cylinder engine. It was my first, and remains my only new car purchase to date. I paid $11,215 for it new and used the Ford Credit easy payment plan for 2 1/2 years until paid off. It has been incredibly reliable, economical, safe, fuel efficient and still looks good on the road. I live in a rural area with the nearest shopping, educational and work opportunities being at least 30 miles away, one way. Aside from routine maintenance, many new tires, having the air conditioning shot with Freon twice and replacing spark plugs, etc., my Taurus is still on the road.

Our golden colored Ford Taurus SLX has taken such good care of us since 2005. We have around 70,000 miles on it and like the way it handles. We had had an older red Ford Taurus for the decade before this one. Reliability again drew us back to this car. Neither were bought new to us, but they both stood up so very well. We must park outside, so the finish takes a beating, but one trip through the car wash they sparkle like new. The mileage on our later model is double that of the former one, so I am assured that when we get yet a later model our mileage per gallon will continue this trajectory. We have it serviced at a dealer when the one in our neighborhood can take us, sometimes they are totally unavailable, then we go to the nationally know tire shop close to our place.
