This car is spacious and reliable!
I drive a Ford Taurus. It's a V6 and has a ton of kick to it. It has auto locks, power windows, nice radio and speakers and definitely has been reliable. Overall, I would say it has been a good car for me to do my daily running around- and I have a lot of running around, being a mother of three children! The car on the inside is super spacious- the back seat could easily fit three large people and the trunk is HUGE. The seats in the back will go down so I can fit bulky items in the trunk and slide them in the back seat, which is a blessing for when I go garage-saleing.
A draw back to the car is how it eats gas. This is the first American car I have ever owned and I do notice a huge difference in the gas mileage I get. It's not super ideal for city driving but highway driving is almost comparable. Another thing I don't like is that while it's got auto locks, it doesn't auto lock or unlock from the outside, so you have to open the door and then press the button. I enjoy auto lock from the outside as well, which this car doesn't have.
It's easy to repair and maintain and it's lasted us a while without any major problems, so I can't complain.

Nice Car
My husband and I bought our Taurus new from the dealer when we became grandparents for the first time. We had had a van while our own children were younger and had retired it once they were in high school to a sporty utility truck that we both drove.
I wasn't working so we really weren't a two vehicle family. But when my daughter became pregnant we knew we were going to be very hands on and active with our grandchild.
We purchased the vehicle in December with the grandbaby due in February.
It had everything we wanted. When we were all out and about it was just my husband and I and the grandbaby. We didn't need anything big but we did need something big enough for a car seat and to be comfortable for us all.
The car provided a smooth ride, which is essential when traveling with an infant.
Then we had a 2nd grandchild and had enough room for all four of us. If another one comes along we may just have to get a station wagon.

I like the vehicle, it is reliable.
I like the vehicle. The vehicle has been a reliable means of transportation. The car is a six-cylinder vehicle, and although it is a six-cylinder vehicle, it is fairly good with gas mileage. I bought the car when it was 15 years old, and the engine only had 87,000 miles on it. One fear I had of this vehicle was that it was a unibody vehicle, meaning it did not have a separate frame. The maker of the vehicle does not have a reputation with having frames that are long lasting to begin with. The vehicle does have sensor lights that go off occasionally for no reason at all, like the air bag light and the doors open light. The one major problem I had with this vehicle is when I purchased it, there was a lot of rot in the floor pan on the passenger side. This was not an isolated incident I later found and that for some reason floor pans in many other same year models were rotting as well. I actually found that more parts in the vehicle were rotting on other vehicles a lot quicker than what I saw with mine. The leg room in the front is not the greatest either. Leg room in the back is much better than in the front. The car is also a comfortable ride and has plenty of trunk space as well. You could literally fit a body in the trunk.
