Used Ford Taurus for Sale in Paxton, IL

In our world of planned obsolescence our second Ford has been ready to accompany both of us who share our sedan on all our adventures. We park our car in a first come, first serve lot near our apartment building and try to keep each other informed about where to look for it. This has made me alert to the distinctiveness of this fourth generation model. The curve of its roof is just a bit higher than any other car in the lot, providing added inside room for my 6”2' height. Its straighter taller trunk has been ever so helpful for hauling supplies among not-for-profits in our neighborhood. Yet looks are not everything, and we have been very pleased with the Taurus' reliability. We are quite careful about its required oil changes and checkups which has kept it in shapes for the longer drives we sometimes make. Soon the car will reach 70,000 miles without any complaints, and we are thinking of doubling this number before replacing it as we did the previous Taurus 1999 that we drove forever. We usually buy a one year old slightly used vehicle so the first kinks are all worked out. This has worked well for us and either of us would recommend this Taurus model for its reliability and sturdiness.

Our golden colored Ford Taurus SLX has taken such good care of us since 2005. We have around 70,000 miles on it and like the way it handles. We had had an older red Ford Taurus for the decade before this one. Reliability again drew us back to this car. Neither were bought new to us, but they both stood up so very well. We must park outside, so the finish takes a beating, but one trip through the car wash they sparkle like new. The mileage on our later model is double that of the former one, so I am assured that when we get yet a later model our mileage per gallon will continue this trajectory. We have it serviced at a dealer when the one in our neighborhood can take us, sometimes they are totally unavailable, then we go to the nationally know tire shop close to our place.
