2011 Honda Accord - Best old Honda ever!
I have owned Hondas in the past, my first car was an Accord (1992). So when I needed to purchase a reliable car, I went back to the Accord. How times have changed. The first thing I noticed is the build quality has gone down hill (cheap plastics, rattles in strange places etc.).
I had to replace my "battery" at 15K miles (what they consider a battery) and have just replaced the rear brake pads and rotors at 29K miles.
To me, it seems like Honda has started cheaping out.
This will be my last Honda, until they start putting some quality back into their vehicles. It is plenty fast and handles well despite what some magazines say. Yes it is a little big but it drives small. The VCM and grade logic are good features but can get annoying if you don't know how to manipulate them. Ours is whit... (more)

Yes it is a little big but it drives small. The VCM and grade logic are good features but can get annoying if you don't know how to manipulate them. Ours is white and it stays cool in the heat. The AC is great and so is the sunroof. I wish there was a back-up camera and Bluetooth but they aren't really needed as the visibility is great and you shouldn't be on the phone while driving anyways.
I live in San Diego so the best thing about my car is the gas mileage! I drive up to 30 miles one way to work and 30 miles back home. The gas mileage is above average for a sedan like this Accord! It was one of the best in class.

Sunroof, stereo, seats are fine for me, engine, transmission, gauges, visibility, turning radius, speed (you will think you're doing 35 and you'll be actually doing 50), handling, safety features. V-Tech is a blast. Go over 4000 RPM and feel an amazing top end boost that just throws that 270 horsepower right at the wheels. Awesome. The look is fantastic. The power leather seats look and feel great. The stock stereo sounds very good, not great, but very good. Love the sunroof and fog lights as well. This car just flat out rocks. It's very roomy for a coupe. Appearance - exterior and interior, sound system, VCM (changes transparent) 6-cylinder engine with regular gas, 18" wheels, anticipated Honda reliability - now own 4 (including my daughter's. Very pleased with all of them. Good rear- seat room, particularly for a coupe. Love the seats, these shape my back in a pretty comfortable position, very roomy I can easily stretch my legs inside and I'm a 6 ft. tall guy. 2.4-liter 16-valve DOHC I-VTEC 4-cylinder engine is great when it comes to gas consumption and lets face it at 190 HP it doesn't drag balls. Exterior is pretty cool!
Go back to some of the features on the 2007 model, center front cup holders (adjustable), cup holder/pocket on the doors of the 2010 model are too big/wide (beverage slides), lighter gray reveals less dirt and lint, closed pocket on door handle, able to let rear seat down from inside the car, go back to the carbon fiber premium accent look, LED brake-light on the truck. Enable iPod skip from steering wheel and display track info on radio panel when using auxiliary jack. Rear/mirror defogger is deactivated when the ignition is turned off (doesn't work with remote engine starter). I felt the... (more)

Rear/mirror defogger is deactivated when the ignition is turned off (doesn't work with remote engine starter). I felt the navigation was not worth the money so we did not get it. Other reviews said the navigation could look better. It does not have the auto-dimming rear mirror that the Camry has. Our Accord is bumpier and slightly noisier than our Camry, but the Accord Coupe V6 engine note has a really cool, sports car-like growl, and the cabin noise is not as bad as we expected. Maybe the active noise canceling technology helps, and the stereo has an automatic speed adjusted volume. The Toyota Camry is more comfortable and quiet. The Accord is a little more expensive than competitors. The Hyundai Sonata is cheaper. The exterior of the Accord sedan is average, but the Coupe looks much better.
2016 Honda Accord - Cars
The Honda Accord is a great vehicle to own. I am so proud to own that vehicle brand new 2016 until the present. It is technologically advanced, which was the second reason why I chose that vehicle. The 1st reason was it's supper reliable. I have been taking care of my black stallion since the day I bought it. It is a vehicle that everyone should have. It has CarPlay, goes above 160 and it's efficient with gas. Gas will last me about a week and half on that vehicle.

Most memorable had to be my honeymoon on a water buffalo. It was in December. We put our bikes on our trailer and drove from Indiana to Florida. Then we parked the wagon and took off on the 750 with camping gear. We made it all the way to Key West and had a great time.

The AccordÕs typically fluid ride-and-handling balance is in full effect here, as is reasonably communicative electric power steering, which combats the sportÕs nose-heavy 59/41-percent weight distribution with light but never limp steering action. Acceleration is seamless if not exactly quick, with the zero-to-60-mph dash consuming a full 7.0 seconds and the quarter-mile run requiring 15.5 seconds with the sport clearing the traps at 92 mph. While those results easily top the 7.6- and 15.9-second times we extracted from a 2016 Accord EX with a CVT automatic, we should note that better num... (more)

While those results easily top the 7.6- and 15.9-second times we extracted from a 2016 Accord EX with a CVT automatic, we should note that better numbers might still be possible, as our sportÕs engine was particularly green, with only 164 miles on the odometer. (For results on a mechanically similar Accord, see our recent long-term test of a manual sport; that car hit 60 in 6.6 seconds and covered the quarter-mile in 15.2.)
The Honda service department told me that the rear brakes are bad and need to be replaced as soon as possible. They said I would have to pay out of pocket for that expense. I said to the service department, "How is that my responsibility since your company just sold me the car?" They told there was nothing they could do for me. I thought when you purchase a car that should be checked and fixed before selling.
