Used Honda Accord for Sale in Dallas, TX

Overall, the 2003 Honda Accord is an older car but it is an extremely reliable old car. Despite the car's age, it continues to run very smoothly requiring minimal maintenance not generally typical of such a vehicle. It definitely has its cons, many of which associated with the older age of the vehicle. This is not to say the car itself is not good, but it should just be known that older cars often do not have all the amenities of more modern vehicles.

My main reasons for purchasing this vehicle was to have a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from work, reasonable gas mileage and good resale value. So far, this car has done an outstanding job on all three accounts! I’m always leery about buying used vehicles, but because this is a Honda I felt fairly confident about it seeing as how the resale value is pretty great for its age. The body of the vehicle is nice and sleek which makes it easy on the eyes as well. I generally get between 27 and 34 miles to the gallon (depending on whether I’m driving city or highway miles). One of the things that surprised me about the car was how much I enjoyed the weight of it. I have another car that is very light and easily hydroplanes when it rains. This car is very weighty, which makes me feel much safer when I drive it. My biggest reason for loving this car is that it is a workhorse! It has a little over 170,000 miles on it now and still runs like a champ. I’ve had absolutely no mechanical issues with the car (and I’d expect nothing less from a Honda). I have of course changed out my brake pads, done oil changes and other maintenance type items, but nothing majorly mechanical has ever had to be done to the car. This is the biggest selling point for me.
