When we started looking for a car that could hold up to my long commutes for work, we stumbled upon our Honda Accord and have loved it ever since! Our Honda is very reliable and didn't cost us a fortune. With 190k miles on it so far, we are confident it will keep going for many more miles and get us where we need to go safely--whether it's around town or across the country.

I was going off to grad school upstate and needed a car of my own. My brother insisted I buy a safe car and not any of the tiny cutsie cars I was eyeing. Saw this online and it was purple(!), good looking, had very low mileage, and just one prior owner. For $4500 it was quite the steal. I owned this car for four years and had it serviced regularly. It broke down on me precisely three times. Twice because it was too cold in ND and the battery gave up. The third time it was the starter. My brother helped me replace that and all was well again.
