1997 Honda Accord - Reliable commuter car.
I really like how smoothly it drives and how great the handling is, but it could use some more help with how hot it gets inside even with the A/C on. Overall, it is a grand car and appeals to the needs I have for it! I use it mostly as just a commuter car to get to and from work among other common things like getting groceries, getting food, etc... I feel like this car can stand the test of time as it has over 200k miles and is still running like a beast! I prefer Asian vehicles over American ones, and this Honda has kept me going for a while. I really like the look and feel of it as well as it reminds me of the cars my family had when I was a kid. I also do not like how high tech some of the vehicles are today. I just have quite a bit of nostalgia attached to this car I guess you could say! But yeah, all in all, this is a top quality, simple and reliable car. It is not fancy or anything, but it gets the job done.
I loved cruising down to the beach in this car! It is a fun car to drive all of the twists and turns around the around, especially in Huntington Beach.

As I mentioned previously, I really like the classic low tech feeling of this car. I feel like it is just a car and not a brand or product in a sense. I also find the seats to be really comfortable. I really like the safety rating on this car compared to other cars as it scores an "A - Acceptable" rating which is better than most cars. I really like how little gas I need to put into it in order to get to places. I really liked how cheap this car was to begin with as I got it for only $500 with only a few problems that I fixed up, mostly replacements like tires, oil, etc... I like the handl... (more)

I like the handling of the car a lot and feel like it drives smoothly in most areas. I really like the fact that this car is a manual because it makes it fun to drive in my opinion, and the clutch, again in my specific car, is top notch. This car is also really easy to drive in my opinion compared to some other vehicles I have driven in the past.
One thing that comes into my mind is that this vehicle can seem cramped at times. Sometimes after long rides, my legs will get a little uncomfortable, but all in all, it is not a big deal. One of the biggest problems I have is that the A/C sometimes stops working, and the car can get really hot pretty fast! I do feel like this is improved in newer Honda models, but for the price, this car was worth having a few flaws. I think the radio has some reception problems, and there is no CD player, but that is just nitpicking at this point! I also think that the doors open up in a clunky manner so... (more)

I also think that the doors open up in a clunky manner some of the times, yet again, not a super big deal just a slight annoyance. I think the brights are too dim at times and make it harder to see at night than in some of the other cars I have driven. I feel like the side mirrors are harder to adjust, but I feel that way in most older cars I have driven in.
1998 Honda Accord - I love my car
There are several things I like about my car. For example, I like that my car has a large trunk. Whenever I go to the grocery store, I never have a problem fitting everything in the trunk. I also like that my car gets about 25 miles per gallon so driving to school everyday isn't too expensive. Even though my car is 20 years old, it still feels nice to drive. Some things I dislike about my car are that it's old so some of the paint has started to peel off. The interior has also taken damage over the years so the seats are no longer in good condition. The A/C system still works but the air is not as cold as it once was, so driving during the summer can be a pain. I've had the car for nearly five years now, and I've never had any problems when it came to driving. I would say that driving ... (more)

I've had the car for nearly five years now, and I've never had any problems when it came to driving. I would say that driving the car and the way it feels when you accelerate are easily one of my favorite things about the car. One last thing to add is that I like the way my car looks. When I first got my car, I was about 20 years old, so getting a car that looked nice was important to me. One other downside to my car is that it isn't the best choice when I'm hanging out with multiple friends or my family because the backseats are on the small side. In addition to this, my car is a two-door car, so getting people in/out of the backseat can be annoying.
One of my favorite memories with my car is the first day I drove to my university. This was one of the first times I drove more than 20 miles on my own, and it was my first day of school so I was excited. One of my favorite memories with my car is the first day I drove to my university. This was one of the first times I drove more than 20 miles on my own, and it was my first day of school so I was excited. I remember getting to school a little later than I expected, so I was in a hurry and I grabbed my things from my car and immediately started walking towards campus. Once I got on campus, I checked my pockets to make sure that I didn't forget anything, and that's when I noticed that I did not have my car keys. I ran back to my car, and sure enough, my car keys were on the driver's seat. I began to panic since I was nearly an hour from home, and I didn't know anyone who lived nearby. I decided that the best thing to do was to go to class and worry about it later. A few hours later, I walked back to my car and attempted to own the door somehow. I remember going to YouTube and looking for any video that could be helpful in helping me unlock my car. After about an hour of several unsuccessful attempts, I searched online and found the number for a local tow truck. The tow truck arrive about 30 minutes after I called, and within a few minutes, my car was unlocked and I was on my way home. Although I never felt that I was in danger, I was nervous the entire time since this was the first time I had gone through something like this. After that day, I have made a habit of always checking my pockets to make sure I have my keys before I get out of my car.
I like the way my car looks. I like that it's fun to drive, and it gets decent mpg.

Lack of A/C. Getting to the backseats can be a pain.
