The best car if you spend a lot of time traveling.
I had heard great things about Honda, so I started looked for a used Honda. I noticed there were none on the car lots. The dealer said they didn't get many used Honda's because people tended to keep them. I totally see why. This car has great gas mileage. I easily get 35 miles to the gallon. But the difference from other cars is I am not giving anything up in style or comfort to get that kind of gas mileage. The style of the car is very sleek and sporty. It is extremely comfortable to drive. It handles great. I love how quiet the cabin is compared to other comparable vehicles. I am also impressed with all the features and technology used in my Civic. I would have never thought I would get all the features I have for such a low price. I love that it is Bluetooth capable. The hands-free features come in handy. The leg room is great even in the back seat. We can easily fit five adults comfortably in my car for a trip. My daughter is a competitive gymnast, so we travel quite a bit. We love taking our Honda Civic on our trips. We have plenty of trunk space for all our luggage, are comfortable for long trips, and will get great gas mileage. We even have room to bring along teammates who need a ride. I also love the key fob to open and lock my car easily. I also like that the car warns me of low pressure in my tires. I recently had a flat tire. I was so thankful for my warning. It allowed me to find somewhere safe to check on my tires.

Great mileage
I bought this Honda Civic used at a Minnesota dealership with only 10k miles on her. From the moment I started her up, it was love at first sight. Sleek frame, smooth transmission, user-friendly (my girlfriend is a horrible driver but can somehow manage to be designated driver) and top-notch acceleration. I drove 26 hours non stop from St. Paul, MN, to Harlingen, TX. Even with the insane amount of traffic and erratic drivers, the brakes were tight and consistent without being too jolty. She is very aerodynamic also. Due to boredom and lack of better judgment at the time, I raced a couple of semis on the freeway a la Fast and Furious but won every single time, unscathed thankfully. She has the speed, endurance, and versatility of a rally car. I have driven well over 100k miles with her, and she is still the best car I have ever had (being a former Ford Focus & Toyota Corolla owner).

You can't go wrong with a Honda.
Ever since I drove a Honda for a company car 20 years ago, I have always driven Hondas. I never have any problems with them, and they get great gas mileage. I am also speaking of my 2005 Honda Civic because I just bought the 2013 certified-preowned a year ago when the other one got wrecked. I had that one for over 220,000 miles because I initially used it for work travel, and it only broke down once. The time it broke down was a timing chain/belt that broke, and I was told that on most cars that would total it, but on a Honda, it was an easy fix. If that car hadn't been wrecked, I think I could have pushed it to maybe 260,000 miles. This new one I am just a tad upset with. I have never bought a used car and didn't want to, but the price was so much cheaper. I made sure to get a certified pre-owned with 30,000 miles with a 100,000 mile warranty, and I financed it for six years. In September, I took it to get inspected so that I could get the registration and it failed! I ended up having to take it to the dealership, and they said it was an issue with the computer in the car due to an incident earlier in the year when I accidentally let the battery go dead, and I had to jump it. Apparently, this screws up the computer in the car, and it has to be reset. This is what people probably don't know...a nugget. To reset the car, they have to drive it like 60 miles and go 40 miles per hour or under and do a certain amount of stops and such...why? This seems ridiculous and makes no sense to me. It's insane to me that you take your car to a mechanic now, and he has to send you to the dealership...not because he can't work on cars but because he isn't a computer programmer!

I have purchased two Honda Civics from this dealership. They have an excellent service department, with long hours on Saturdays. The salespeople I have worked with have always been very professional. When I purchased my first Civic, I was invited to a new owners' workshop held one evening during the week. I learned more about the dealership, its service department, and learned about caring for my Honda. This dealership does follow-up surveys about service visits I make. Whenever I take my car in for any type of service, ranging from a routine oil change to a major repair visit, I always leave with a car that has been vacuumed and washed. This is part of their service. Their waiting room also has a television and snacks. This dealership is not the closest Honda dealership to my home, but they treat their customers well.

Upon arriving at Gillman Honda we were greeted not by a greeter but by the Manager Mario. He inquired about what we were looking for and felt Normalinda would best suit our needs. She was so perfect . She stayed within our financial restraints and showed us only cars we could afford. We quickly make our decision. Normalinda was amazing and Gillman Honda will see us again! Great people great dealership. Thank you, Gillman Honda.
