The Honda Civic lasts for a very long time low gas mileage and very reliable.
I enjoy driving the Honda Civic for the last 16 years. The gas mileage is ridiculously awesome. The Honda Civic rarely broke down for the first 10 years. The sound system is excellent. With a standard you are driving on an average of 36 miles per gallon. The radio sound system is nice in a compact car. The engine is quiet and doesn't make the car shake. The metal is strong and protects you inside.

In it for the long haul
Purchased my '99 Honda Civic EX two door in 2010. Seven years later it is hitting 220k and going strong. Never had any major issues. Just some usual maintenance costs. Great vehicle that I continue to use due to its low gas mileage and low maintenance costs. I have lived in several neighborhoods where I get asked if I would sell the car. I am not sure why it had such a cult following, but it has been a great economical purchase.
