I have owned this car for just over a year now and it is still working great. My gas mileage is around 38 mpg with city and highway (I do a lot of highway driving), and that is right where I expected it to be. Since I got the LX trim, there aren't a lot of bells and whistles on the car, but I'm okay with that, it is exactly what I thought I was buying, which makes me feel like I made a good purchase.

I do not do a lot of personal things with my vehicle, it is mainly all work travel. We use my significant other's car to go on any trips.
A Favor
As I already mentioned, I am getting great gas mileage which for me was good news. I also was able to buy it from the dealer as a used car because it was one of their previous loaner cars that they gave customers when their own car was in the shop. It had a total of 5,500 miles on it when I got it, and I've already put close to another 15,000 on it, but it is running great. I've only had to bring it in for standard oil changes.
En Contra
The only negative thing I have to say is that sometimes the radio knob will not work, and the LED screen will be all black. It only occurs when it is extremely hot outside, so I think it has to do with the heat. Normally after about a minute or so of driving, everything starts working. The radio still works fine while this is happening, I just have to adjust volume from the wheel, and I can't see what station I'm on. All in all, a very good car. I will buy another one eventually.

1996 Honda Civic - The car is a workhorse. Excellent build quality even after 20 years, easy to maintain and gets really good gas mileage, over 30mpg.

I purchased this vehicle used off of Craigslist. When I bought it, it already had over 250,000 miles on it. It is a 4 door sedan with a 1.6L 4 cylinder engine. It has a 5 speed transmission which I love, and the original paint is dark green but it is fading off in many areas of the car so I just Plasti-Dipped the whole car in black. It looks a lot cleaner now. The interior and the mechanics of the vehicle are still in good working condition.
Historia
I like how nimble and easy it is to drive the vehicle. I remembered one time I was going up a steep hill so I dropped it down to second gear and then when I got up to the top of the hill and began to descend, I just put it in neutral and let it coast down the hill at 60 mph, it was so much fun!
A Favor
This vehicle requires very little maintenance and it has really good interior and trunk considering that it is only a small sedan. Great gas mileage, good suspension. You basically just put gas in and go.
En Contra
Could use a bigger engine displacement for more power, perhaps a 2.0L or 2.2L would be better.
