Dependable vehicle without the thrills
I have had my Honda Civic for six-plus years, and I have been pleasantly surprised. The price was fair ($22K), and I got it new. I have really enjoyed the Bluetooth, leather seats, and low-maintenance attention. I have only performed preventative maintenance and have not had any issues through my first 50,000 miles. It has been a very low maintenance vehicle and very dependable. I also really like the gas mileage in the 30 mpg levels, which is better than other vehicles in its class. My only complaint against the car has been some of the features appear to have been cheaply made. The leather seats are starting to show wear and tear. The trim of the outside of the vehicle chipped easily. The knobs on the radio and climate control show wear and tear. I live in a city, and my car is generally garage-kept; therefore, IÕm surprised to see the wear and tear showing so much, but I guess you get what you pay for. I would recommend the vehicle to friends given its value.

Generally positive but not best Honda Civic I've owned
I have always driven used Honda Civics, but my third one (2010) has had more problems than I generally have experienced. I purchased my current one with 30k miles on it, and though it drives fine, things keep breaking. In the first month of owning, I had to replace all the breaks, and 30k miles later, I'm having to replace them all again. I do live in a city, but this is ridiculous. In between the breaks, I've also had to replace the A/C compressor as well as some of the automatic sensors in the cars. Furthermore, this model looks a lot sleeker than previous models, and while it is pretty, it isn't too functional. The frame at the front of the windshield are at such a slanty angle, it is nearly impossible to see pedestrians at the street corners or if they are already crossing. It's just like that perfectly impracticable ratio. You get used to it though. Otherwise, it is a great car. Nice interior with more automated features and adaptors for technology. I still love Honda and am confident this car will be with me a very long time,

Honda girl for life
My Honda currently has 170k miles on it, and I am not worried about it breaking down any time soon. Hondas are built like tanks and are very dependable cars. I feel like if I take it in for regular oil changes, it's a happy camper. It's the right size for me. I can fit Ikea bookshelves in through the back easier than I thought, considering the size, but I can also park in the city in parallel spots without any trouble. The only downsides are that my ac charge doesn't seem to hold as long as I would like and the height that I am (5'4"), sometimes I can't see my mph through the steering wheel super easily. It gets pretty good gas mileage, and the seats are comfortable. I bought this car used, so I didn't buy it for the customization, but the center console with directions is nice, as well as having a sunroof. The sunroof still works well, just like everything else in the car. I was rear ended once, and the damage to the car was minimal. I felt very protected.
