The Honda CR-V was brought to my attention while I was searching for a mid-sized vehicle to purchase after my sedan was totaled in a fender bender (I was not the at-fault party). My goal was to be able to sit up higher (so as to see more of my surroundings and fellow drivers) and so have more safety features on my vehicle. The recommendations and reviews of other drivers led me to narrow my search down to Honda CR-Vs and Toyota RAV4s. I was able to test drive both vehicles, and ultimately chose the Honda CR-V. The result was that I fell in love with the Honda CR-V. It far surpassed the Toyota RAV4 in all areas.

The Honda CRV is built to last. I've owned several that easily make it over 250,000 miles with few repairs beyond regular dealership suggested maintenance. My current CRV has 75,000 and drives like new. All interior switches, knobs, and buttons are intact and functional despite constant use, and with a detailed monthly cleaning, the inside looks new as well. It's quiet on the highway, gets fantastic mileage, and heats and cools quickly even in the most extreme weather. It turns on a dime, and the back-up camera is a great help in getting in and out of tight spots. The incredibly roomy hatch can hold a ton of stuff. The lines and styling are classic and timeless. It has many of the newer tech features like Bluetooth, usb ports, and hands-free features. The controls are intuitive and easy to operate.
