I absolutely love the 2008 Honda fit! It is reliable and had excellent fuel economy. It also drives very smoothly, and handles well; it can literally turn and brake on a dime. The back seats can lay down to create a completely open area in the back(think station wagon). This was great for me, because I got the Honda Fit right before I went to college and have had it through graduate school as well. There has been lots of trips to and from home, as well as lots of moving between dorms and apartments, so this has been a great feature to have. The cons are that it is smaller, which can be nice, but not if you have a larger/taller passenger or you are a larger/taller driver. It is also extremely low to the ground, which once again can be a good thing, but can also be bad. I have had the plastic under my front bumper replaced twice due to scraping the bottom/ catching it on something which caused the piece to drag. Also, the model I got did not include cruise control, so I had to have it installed.
