The Honda Odyssey is a workhorse, with seats that come out and fold down easily. This is the older model body and in many ways we like it better than newer due to the ability of the back seats to fold down instead of having to be taken out. We use it to carry our two massive dogs and, because the two center bucket seats can push together, they each have their own bench to sit on and don't have to share. The front seats are equally comfortable. One thing to be wary of if buying this model used is that for a number of years these Honda's were prone to transmission issues. We had to replace our transmission shortly after purchase. Otherwise the engine and everything else have been in great working order. This van has survived at least one big family road trip so far since we got it. The trunk space is great because of the added depth that can store the back seat. Be aware that the spare tire on this model is located between the front and center seats under the carpeting and after years of non-use the carpeting under layer tends to stick.

The car is of excellent quality. It has 80,000 miles on it, but still hasn't had any major problems. Besides typical maintenance, the car still runs practically new. The stereo and air conditioning systems haven't seemed to age at all. The repair-ability is also quite convenient being a common car so we can easily order new parts from the manufacturer. The interior has also held up great. The leather seats are barely worn out and still feel fresh. The vehicle is also pretty fast for a minivan with its VTEC engine. It's also great for vacation, as it can fit up to 7 people which is convenient for our family. It has deep trunk space and a roof rack so that you can throw cargo on top. For my dad the van also works great because we do a bit of construction around the house. You can fold the back row and easily remove the middle row without any complications. With these seats removed we can easily fit sheet rock and anything else big or long, like PVC pipes or tools.
