The Honda Pilot is probably the best SUV, maybe the best overall vehicle that I have ever owned. It had been totally dependable and reliable, has decent styling, good power, and is very comfortable. I live in the Northeast and the 4WD allows me to drive through snow with ease. The car looks great and has a decent interior - a bit utilitarian, perhaps lacking sophistication of some of its contemporaries, however, perfectly suitable for a workhorse SUV. The cargo space is ample and the cabin is roomy. Maintenance and repair costs have been low and within reason. Overall, this is a fantastic vehicle and I would not hesitate for a moment to purchase it again.

The Pilot is not a huge SUV so it's pretty good on gas. It looks nice enough, but it's pretty small for a third row SUV. It's not a really expensive car to purchase used. Overall, it's a decent mid-level quality vehicle that will get you where you need to go. It does hold its value fairly well as long as you keep the mileage low.
