2012 Hyundai Accent - Amazing and Fuel Efficient
I love my 2012 Hyundai Accent. It gets anywhere from 32 to 41 miles per gallon, which is one of the reasons that I purchased it. I wanted a car that didn't have any perks, just a basic model. And with that basic model, I have enjoyed it fully! The radio works great, and there is room for an auxiliary cord and USB port. Also, it has a CD player. So the basic model included those things, which was pretty impressive. I went through the Hyundai dealership, and there was an issue with the way they tested for the fuel efficiency. Although the fuel efficiency has met or exceeded standards, I get a prepaid credit card for miles driven because of this issue. I love the dealership as well, because they give me oil changes and maintenance, and they are always very nice. The car is comfortable, an... (more)

I love driving my car. It's always fun, and it looks good.
A Favor
I love the radio and speakers, with a auxiliary port, CD player, USB port, and charger all in one place. I love the six speed stick shift. The tires are a size that is really affordable, so when I have to replace the tires, it's decent and doesn't put me back much. The lights are all awesome, with two different lights in the car, and the headlights and brake lights are great. I LOVE THE FUEL EFFICIENCY. Even when gas was $4 a gallon, I wasn't going broke, because the car constantly gets 32 to 41 miles per gallon. The trunk is super spacious for such a small car. The lights in the trunk are... (more)

Ok, the bad things about the car. I hate to say it, but there are a few things that I would change. If you have the car filled up with people, it takes a while to speed up. That is totally because it's a four cylinder, manual transmission, and you can't just turn out with oncoming traffic if you have some larger friends in the car. I got the gray seats, which are a light gray, and if you spill water on them, it leaves a terrible stain. Coming back from swimming, when I have still been damp, has left stains on the driver's seat that make it look like I have crazy back sweat. So that's total... (more)
2012 Hyundai Accent - Nice first car, better if cheaper.
I purchased this car when I was 18 from a Hyundai dealership. I liked the color (red), and how it seems rather sleek. I was not really a car guy, so I didn't know anything about cars and my Mom essentially just let the car salesman convince me on what to buy. The performance has been extremely reliable for the 9 years I've owned this car. It's currently at over 100,000 miles and still going strong, just needs regular oil changes and maintenance. I have not had any major issues outside of an electrical problem with my USB outlet and an issue where the A/C blower stops working entirely.

Driving down the only big hills in Florida (Clermont) really shows how well the stock brakes are. When I first bought this car I was going a little too fast as I came up to a red light and stopped on a dime, to my delight and surprise.
A Favor
The car has a relatively weak engine at 138 horsepower, but it's a compact, light car, so driving it feels extremely zippy at times, and the handling is terrific. The speakers are adequate, seats are relatively comfortable, and the back seat is surprisingly spacious given how small the car is. I like the design of the exterior, it feels modern but not overly curved. Fuel costs are low, and filling up the tank will last for a decent amount of time.
En Contra
The horn is pathetic, the car takes a very long time to warm up or cool down even with the fan blowing cold/hot air full blast, and there aren't many additional features often found in newer cars, such as steering controls for the radio, Bluetooth, heated seats, or cruise control. Regarding maintenance, after 75,000 miles it starts to burn oil like crazy until you change out a particular piece in the engine. While the mileage is great, the gas tank could stand to hold more than 8 gallons.

2015 Hyundai Sonata - Cocoa Hyundai
My parents had purchased a car from them a few years ago. Their salesperson was still working there, pretty uncommon, and he was really helpful. He even remembered my parents. The MSRP was almost $25K but he got me a couple rebates and a loyalty discount (I traded in a 2008 model) and my financing package included an extended warranty, free oil changes, and tire rotations as well as a really good interest rate. Truly a customer service-oriented business.
2006 Hyundai Elantra GT - Crown Hyundai St. Petersburg
This dealership is great because they have sold me my last 5 cars without an issue with any of my cars. They have sold cars to several of my friends and relatives. The people that I have referred to Crown have all had positive experiences with the exception of 1 person. That persons car froze up and had to be junked unfortunately. Aside for that, they have been great.
