I have had my Santa Fe for roughly seven years and it has held up much better than expected. It now has over 120,000 miles and I still love it! Of course a few small things have happened to it, but that is to be expected with the time and use. It is a great multi use vehicle. I can haul people and everyone is comfortable with plenty of room or I can haul equipment. I fish quite often and can fit full 6'6" poles in the back with the seats down. There is plenty of room for gear like poles, nets, coolers, etc. For all of the use I have put it through, the interior has held up great. No rips or tears in the fabric which I was surprised about.

I purchased my Santa Fe as a used vehicle. Although it was 10 years old, it had very low mileage. I needed something with four-wheel drive since I live in a rural area. From the first day, I fell in love with my Santa Fe. The ride is smooth and comfortable and I have taken a few long road trips with great satisfaction. Being able to put the back seats down to accommodate extra loads is a big plus, and it is easy to do. I feel the gas mileage is excellent for a V6. It also has a few little extras which I love; heated front seats, and the headlights automatically turn off when you shut off the vehicle. No more dead batteries! I have had a few repairs, but they have all been due to maintenance issues which are to be expected, such as a new alternator, battery and tires. The seats are leather and very comfortable, and the driver's seat has many ways to adjust it for my bad back. Most importantly, this vehicle is great in bad weather, with the four wheel drive kicking in when needed. Last but not least, the roof rack is very well designed, and I have been able to travel with my kayak on the roof without having to purchase a separate carrier.
