The Santa Fe Sport looks sharp and has a lot of space for the class of car it is. I have been getting around 28-30 because I mostly drive on the highway with cruise control on. I am excited to try out the downhill breaking assist when I head to the mountains. The drive is very smooth. The back seat has plenty of space for my large dog and more. I could probably put 3 dogs back there! It's not a pick up truck, but the back has enough room to put feed and hay in it if I need too. I definitely can throw all my tack and hoof trimming supplies back in too. The color is perfect! And the turn radius is awesome for a vehicle of its size.

It got me through the blizzard we just had in Hampton Roads, which is no easy feat.
A Favor
The back seats fold down for even more space - it feels like a big SUV on the inside despite it being a compact SUV. Another HUGE pro is the 100,000 mile warranty from Hyundai itself. It isn't as stealthy as other compact SUVs.
En Contra
The gas mileage is fairly expected for a compact SUV. The only thing this base model didn't come with is roof racks. This model doesn't come with heated seats or power seats or a sunroof.

This vehicle is comfortable and reliable! I really love that it has a bunch of space for my day to day activities and my dog. We can also pile in another dog and person and go on trip to hike and visit friends. It get's really good gas mileage for an SUV too. I really like taking it out, and I drive a lot so I have had a lot of experience driving it at this point. I commute about 400 miles a week, and have done three longer road trips with it. It has been comfortable and reliable the whole time!
Historia
My roommate and I piled our dogs in for a six-hour round trip day excursion to the mountains to hike. It was comfortable for all of us, and we still got about 32 mpg.

Good SUV gas mileage. Roomy. Reliable.
En Contra
I really, really hate that when the Bluetooth on my phone disconnects that XM radio has a contract with Hyundai, so it will go to the very loud XM radio commercials that harass you into paying for XM radio.

They spent a lot of time answering my questions pre-sale, and we honestly spent 6 hours on this endeavor, mostly my hemming and hawing and question asking. Answered a lot of questions when doing the finance paperwork too.
