A great small SUV that is fun to drive and gets great mileage.
I've had my 2011 Jeep Compass Limited since 2013 and I absolutely love it. It has plenty of storage room, comfortable seating, gets great gas mileage and is all around fun to drive. For the price I don't think you can do much better.
