The Jeep Grand Cherokee limited is a pleasure to drive. Comfortable and luxurious. My gas mileage, is around 20mpg, not too bad, considering it is a luxury SUV. I feel safe & secure, However, its notorious flaws negate any positives. One major issue with this car is the electrical system. It is not well built and as such, there are electrical issues from one end to the other. For instance: Headlights, taillights, turn signals, all go on and off regardless of having just replaced a bulb. I've had entire assemblies replaced, and still, the lights just fail....but, then a week or two later, they are suddenly working again. The electrical issues have also affected the heating/cooling system. The heater especially seems to have a mind of it's own. Some days I can turn the heat on, and adjust the fan, vents, and temperature....and all is well. Other days, the fan blows full blast, on hot....sometimes even in the summer, when I haven't touched the controls at all. Other times, the fan blows nothing but cold air. At first I as told it was a blender door issue...but, it soon became obvious that the problem was actually a faulty electrical system. None of the electrical issues have been repaired permanently. It seems there is no permanent repair for them. Yet Jeep has not issued recalls. I would not recommend this car to anyone...it is way too much of a headache!
