I have purchases my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo within the last year. I have been looking into this type of vehicle and doing as much research as I could before buying it. It has been right up to where I expected it to be! The best features include the Selec-Trac: 2-wheel drive, 4-part time, 4-full time, neutral, and 4-Lo. I expect the 4-wheel driving will be great for winter, since I haven't had the chance to drive in snow quite yet. The 4-wheel drive is good when covering rocky ground or slippery surfaces. The wheels aren't the only good thing about this beauty. It is also vacation-capable. I have taken this out of state on a summer trip, which was my living quarters for a week. LOTS of room in the back with the fold-down seats. When it comes to bed-time, the storage goes up to the front and I sleep in back. This space has also come in handy when driving my husky to the dog park. He loves having space to walk around or lay down. Also, this vehicle comes with towing capability. I have not yet towed anything, but having the ability is very appealing.
