The Jeep Patriot is an excellent mid-size SUV. I have the 4x4 option, which allows me to take my Jeep off-road. It also works great if you live somewhere with snowfall in Winter. I enjoy that I can lay the entire backseat, or single seats, down flat to increase my storage. I get pretty good gas mileage, usually about 23 miles to a gallon. My Jeep has also lasted quite a while. I have had it six years and have about 223,000 miles on it, and my local Jeep dealer says she still has plenty of life left in her. One issue that I have with my 2008 Jeep Patriot is that the radio has CD changer and satellite radio, but no input capabilities. This means I have no way to listen to music from my smartphone, and there isn't even a headphone jack to be able to plug an auxiliary cable. I also dislike that there is only one power outlet in the Jeep. As a family vehicle, we really have to budget our charging due to this. I really like that the leather seats are very high quality. There has been no cracking or major scratching. My favorite part about the Jeep is the factory tinted windows; I have sensitive eyes and these are just the right amount of tint to keep me both comfortable and safe without after-market mods.

My Jeep Patriot has been my second owned car and it has been quite an experience. At first I didn't have any problems with it but about 3 months into the purchase I started having problems turning it on at times. Then I found out that I had to clean injectors, thus it was a problem of maintenance rather than the actual car. Another thing the car had rust at the bottom but I’m guessing that was only because I bought it from someone that lived by the beach thus it explains how the salt had that effect on the car. Overall I would recommend it and it's a great car, runs smoothly. Almost forgot, one other thing I struggled with was economically the gas has been sort of killing my pocket and it doesn’t last that long which is kind of frustrating for the fact that I have to go very long distances for work. I wish they had this car come as a V4 so that this problem wouldn’t have such a significant con on the car but again overall I’ve had an overall great experience with the car.

My 2015 Jeep Patriot is a perfect balance between high performance and fuel efficiency. I have had many trips where I reached 30 mpg and above, which was a pleasant surprise considering the large amount of storage space and head room that this vehicle offers. The Uconnect feature and mobile Wi-Fi hotspot are also really awesome for internet access and playing all my favorite music on long trips. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my Jeep Patriot.
