It's Jeep thing
This is a small cross over. I liked that the hatchback is roomie, but the back seat is far too close to the front seat for tall people to sit comfortably. I have the four-wheel drive option, and it was awful in the rain and the snow. The car itself is very cute, drives great, and is low on maintenance. It gets very good gas millage. I have taken this car off roading to places that a much larger 4x4 would go, and it performed very well. I like the touch screen that is standard and how you can save CDs onto the car's hard drive. The car itself does have several blind spots that makes it hard to see. It takes some time to get used to driving with the blind spots.

It is a good all purpose vehicle
My husband bought this as a surprise for our 10 year anniversary. I had previously driven a 1997 Jeep Cherokee that I loved, but was getting old and we had given it to out 16 year old daughter. I was surprised by the difference in handling. My old Jeep was a tank, and required physical effort to steer. The Patriot was like driving a car. The Patriot was also a lot roomier, but had almost the same storage capacity. It took a while to adjust to the CVR transmission but once I got used to it, I liked it. I was a little disappointed that it did not have the power of my old Jeep, but it had better maneuverability. It is very easy to drive, and I like the features like heated seats and all the controls on the steering wheel. It is decent on gas. I have had problems with the sensors on the tires. No matter how many times I put air in the dash light indicates low air pressure. It was a good value for the money, but I miss my old jeep.

The 2012 Jeep Patriot falls into line with every Jeep before. Great on road handling with the off-road ruggedness you would expect from a Jeep. It's stylish for a night on the town with enough room to bring friends along. Fold the back seats forward and you have room to haul materials for those weekend projects. It's a look that never goes out of style. The front bucket seats are firm and comfortable. The heated seat option is heavenly in the winter.

The people were very friendly. There was practically no wait to see different vehicles we were interested in. Any questions we had they were able to answer. Financing was simple as well. We also liked to support a neighborhood business. We will get our next car from them the next time we buy.
