Purchased vehicle at 50,000 miles. Rattling began just months after purchase and driving on the uneven pavement of city streets. After only 5,000 miles the tie rods, sway bar links, and alignment needed to be serviced. During long drives on the highways at high-speeds the steering wheel started to show numbing vibrations. Wire underneath was shorted out because of melting of the snow, and had to be rewired and replaced. At 65,000 miles the check engine light came on and numerous dealers cannot diagnose the problem. The electrical problem causes the truck to jerk as if the transmission is going out, however the transmission was checked and ruled out. On the bright side, the wide tailgate assures a comfortable place to sit on summer nights at the drive-in theater.
