Kia Rio
Purchased the car for my daughter. It is standard, no power window but does have AC. This car has performed very well with little problems during the warranty stage, only once into the dealership for a water pump. I have maintained it through the KIA dealership and know has 95,000 miles on it with no major issue. The one problem is 5th gear is too small for Texas Highways the RPMs are too high at 85 mile per hour speed limit pushing up around 5 rpm. At these speeds the car begins to feel a little unsafe. The cars gas mileage has always been great and has maintained the same MPG over the life of the car. It is a really good commuter car for a high school or college student. The downside to having no power locks on a car is people are not used to this anymore and your vehicle is often times left unlocked or even worse you lock your keys in the vehicle.

Great car!
The Kia Rio is a great car that I would highly recommend! I've had mine since 2007, and it still runs great at 98k miles! It has required service, but what car hasn't? This car has served me well, the backseat is the perfect size for a dog or for larger art projects. The interior of the car, the car seat material, is a nice tough fabric that doesn't get too hot in the sun! The dashboard is a dark color too, but the car doesn't seem to absorb as much heat. When I get my next car I hope to get a newer model of a kea riot. I have the standard model and it serves it's purpose for a working college student commuting to work and hanging out with friends.

Uncomfortable but consistent
It shakes and rattles. The seats are uncomfortable and it's small and low to the ground, but it gets you from point A to point B. It has over 200,000 miles on it, but it still runs and does what we need it to do.
