2013 Kia Soul - Wonderful little cube.
Overall, my Kia Soul is a great car to own! It's very fun to drive. Even with just a 4 cylinder it has some "pick up" to it when I need it. It is a smooth drive and brakes wonderfully.
Historia
I was driving around the campus parking lot looking for a space, but it was after the busy rush hour time and every spot was filled up! I finally turned down a row and found a spot, but it looked so tight. I decided to try anywhere and squeeze my Soul in. A Favor
I love how great my gas mileage is. During road trips, I can easily get up to around 30 miles/gallon. I get around 24 miles/gallon during my daily commute. One of my favorite things is how compact it is. I can easily fit into tight parking spaces without worry. I also love how spacious my car is on the inside. It looks very little on the outside, but inside there's tons of room that even my 6 foot friend was amazing with how much leg room she had in the back seat. En Contra
I have had some electric issues with my vehicle. In particular, the wiring to the radio buttons/cruise control buttons in the steering wheel are touchy and occasionally "jump" or go the wrong direction. The tire pressure warning was also lit up for almost 6 months even though the air pressure was not low. Additionally, my driver's side mirror fell out due to the ball socket becoming worn out, which is pretty unfortunate given my car is only 5 years old.
2014 Kia Soul - Good small car for a mom!
I have had my Kia Soul almost 2 years. I bought it because I had planned on having a family soon and my old car (a Mazda 3 which I LOVED) was on its last leg and I was in need of a replacement. I could not afford a large SUV but wanted something similar for the space without having to buy a minivan. I have really enjoyed my Soul. It has a great sound system and Bluetooth system to listen to music devices. It has several "driving settings" which make your steering wheel, handling, etc. feel different so you can customize your driving experience. I also enjoy that I typically get at least 35 miles per gallon ( which I can check using the "average miles per gallon " setting on the odometer. I remember when I first brought my new car home I would wipe it down every day with a cloth before going to work because I wanted it to really sparkle :)
A Favor
My favorite features of the vehicle are the hatch back "trunk" which has an organizational compartment, the Bluetooth to connect my phone, and the general space inside for such a small car.
En Contra
I wish it looked more sporty like my Mazda 3, but really that's not what it's meant for. My tires have not lasted as long as I wish they had, I have 30,000 miles on my car and have rotated my tires (from the factory) regularly and they are in desperate need of replacement.

Mark Martin Kia told us the pros and cons of vehicles. They didn't try to push the newer, more expensive cars on us. Instead, Mark Martin Kia showed us the safest car on the market, and the statistics it had. This was a huge plus for us, as we were brand new parents.

The buying experience at Mark Martin Kia was outstanding. There was no haggling, no hidden fees, no unexpected negotiation. The price for the car was negotiated before I even stepped foot on the parking lot. They beat the competitors prices greatly and have provided wonderful service after the sale.
