Not bad for the price.
Overall, I'm happy with it for the price, but I don't think I would buy it again. I got the six-speed manual, which only came with the smaller engine option. I would prefer the bigger engine, as it's really hard to get it up to speed quickly. I had some problems with the heater core @ 28,000 miles. I had to take it back to the dealer about four times over two months to get it fixed. I was not impressed with Mazda's customer service which is why I would not feel comfortable buying another Mazda in the future. On the plus side, I love the cargo room, the handling, and it's a nice-looking ride. The manual really helps save on gas too. I'm getting about 30 MPG. It's exactly what I need. I just wish the quality was a little better.
