My First (and Only) Car
I bought my car used back in 2009 for $2200 after looking at several others. It's 22 years old with 122,000 miles on it. The interior is still spotless, the engine itself hasn't given me any major issues, and the body and suspension are all original but in great condition. I personally like the styling of the old pre-DaimlerChrysler Mercedes Benz automobiles, though some might find the boxy looks a bit dated, I feel they've held up much better than the vast majority of cars of the era. The seats are vinyl (or "MB-Tex"), and they look brand new. The leather, wood, and plastics, on the steering wheel, console, and dash have held up remarkably well. It's far from perfect though. For starters, its pretty slow by todays standards. It requires 92 octane or higher, or the engine pings. On top of higher grade fuel, it gets about 15 mpg combined city/highway. Some replacement parts can also be very expensive (the car cost $33,000 in 1992, in todays money that is about $55,000). Taking it to a Mercedes dealership to have work done will also cost a pretty penny, as smaller body shops may not have some of the odd tools required for some jobs on this model.

Fantastic
I love this car, it is the ultimate luxury car and I would buy one again if I ever get the chance to! This car has leather seats that have a seat warmer installed in them and the heat and air conditioning both work great! It has a lot of horsepower, if you're not careful, the car will get away from you. It starts off and before you know it, you're easily going 115 mph. It doesn't even feel like you are going that fast, it almost feels like you are driving on air. Almost feels like you are driving on air. This car is everything you've dreamed about and more, try it!

Budget Mercedes Doesn't Compromise Performance or Luxury
The 190E is an entry level Mercedes which comes in two engine styles, the 4 cylinder and straight 6 cylinder. Mercedes is re-known for its status as an exemplary luxury vehicle and this very affordable model is no exception despite its low price.
The trim is a synthetic, but very durable and designed to wear well synthetic leather. The interior cleans up nicely with soapy water and a bucket.
The 4 speed transmission with center console shifter makes for ease of start and stop operations.
Performance is not compromised, both the 4 and 6 cylinder models provide above average highway and passing power performance.
The body design models the elegant 300 model of the prior Mercedes generation.
Fuel economy is on par with similar Japanese and American models.
After 21 years and 240,000 miles, the interior shows only moderate signs of wear and the motor still has pep for passing and full throttle acceleration.
If you have children or pets, the roomy rear interior allows for plenty of leg room for stretching or napping during long road trips.
