Used Nissan Maxima for Sale in New York, NY

First, my car has 172k miles on it and it is still running strong and smooth. It was mainly highway miles coming from NJ but now it's in NYC. I've changed the timing belt, brakes and struts (nyc has a lot of potholes). It still drives smooth and has a lot of power in it. The trim package came with heated and power leather seats, traction control, sunroof, electronic climate control and a Bose speaker system. I've seen the same types of Maxima with the seats in perfect condition, but mine are slightly cracking. The climate control buttons also tend to lose power from time to time. Performance wise it's very sturdy, and handles okay but I'm not a fan of the turning radius. The exterior of the car is pretty good as well and the model is pretty common so I don't feel like I'm driving a 16 year old car. The only exterior exception is the VERY common rear wheel well rust. It's not many you will find without that rust in the northeast US. Overall, parts are inexpensive and it's pretty good on gas as well. I get about 200 on a full tank and I'm heavy footed.

I like the shape of the body. I like the interior. I didn't like the fact that the body was longer. The car performed awfully. The engine always had a rattle for the two years that I owned it. I burned gas like crazy. I lost a lot of money buying this car. I wouldn't buy this brand of car again - not even the newest model. Many changes to the design must be done. I gave up this car to ride New York City public transportation.
