The Nissan Pathfinder has lasted a very long time in our family as a commuter car, and has served us well. We drive about 100+ miles a day for our mobile business so comfort and gas mileage are extremely important, and it has always been affordable for us. We especially love the amount of room that it provides without being a hassle to drive (we have had other SUVs that were bulky and difficult to handle). The larger size is important to us since we have to drive clients often and providing comfort and safety is of course essential to keeping their business. It's rarely in the shop and since it's a Nissan the fix is usually quick and fairly easy. We taught our daughter to drive in this car and felt it was a very safe and fun choice for learning. She picked it up very quickly and is comfortable taking us on drives despite being nervous driving other cars. The acceleration and handling are very natural and I think this car is a great choice for anyone looking to buy an SUV.

I love my pathfinder. It's durable and luxurious. It's good for trails, which I do a couple of times a month. At the same, it's luxurious for out of town trips. The ride is great and I love being up high. Cons - not too many. A few are all my friends want me to drive when it time to do such trips or for guys night out. Another con is that my grandmother has a hard time climbing into the vehicle when I give her rides to the doctor's office.
