I needed an automatic car that still gave me the feeling I could pass cars on the highway, in my price range, with lumbar support, safety and a sporty look.

My Nissan Versa provides very dependable transportation at a reasonable cost. The car is styled in a practical manner with a surprising amount of room in the interior. The car is very comfortable on day trips with plenty of room in the rear for luggage for both myself and my wife. For a small car the Versa is very quiet and has a smooth controlled ride. It has a few rattles however it has nearly 100000 miles on it. The fuel economy is excellent. I average about 30 miles per gallon on my daily commutes and close to 35 miles per gallon on interstate highway trips. The versa is also very reliable. I haven't had to have any mechanical work done to it other than wear and tear items such as tire replacement, oil changes etc. Being a small car it handles pretty well , is maneuverable and has a secure feel about it. I have driven it a lot on wet and icy pavement and for the most part I've felt pretty secure. The cars acceleration is just adequate, I miss the fact that it doesn't have antilock brakes. All in all a decent purchase that I would make again.
