2001 Ram Pickup 1500 - It has been good so far but has a couple issues.
Overall, this vehicle has been a good purchase. It is great as a work truck and moving material around, but it doesn't get the greatest gas mileage. When gas is expensive, I can really feel it. The engine seems to work great, although it is quite loud and has a couple of odd noises. The accelerates just fine and brakes good as well. The brakes are very squeaky, which is very annoying, but it doesn't seem to stop their braking power at all. The ride is comfortable, but the window opener is right in the way of my leg, which makes it a slight annoyance. Parking is a pain with a truck, but it makes up for it with the amount of construction materials it can easily haul. I wish that the car had a few more features, but it is an older model, and it is expected that things will be broken over ... (more)

I wish that the car had a few more features, but it is an older model, and it is expected that things will be broken over time. The truck has a lot of power and can tow a heavy payload. I have not done a lot of towing yet, but based on what I was told and read, it's a strong towing truck. The ride is very high up, which is nice to see the road but can be difficult for kids or smaller people to get in and out of. Overall for the money I spent, I think in was a good purchase.
I used it to haul my first load for my new business in Boise, ID. I filled the back with different industrial coatings and supplies and was able to take it all the warehouse in one load.

The biggest pros are the ability to haul stuff, the power of the engine, the high height of the ride, and the ample space for goods.

The cons are gas mileage, parking, squeaking brakes, slow acceleration, wide turns, and it's hard for some people to get in or out of.

2016 Ram Pickup 1500 - Great build quality.
I really like the room in the Ram 1500 quad cab. At first I was a little bummed because I thought their was going to not be enough passenger room; I was so wrong. Even my biggest friend who is 6'5" tall and about 300 pounds has plenty of leg room in the back. To top it off, the bed is longer than the crew cab that is offered, and I need it for my wife and my kayaks. It is just enough for two of them to fit in the bed. I can say that one of the dislikes I had was the fact it has no tow hooks on it, which used to come standard on all the trucks I used to buy. We got stuck in the mud and ended up tearing up the steering control box up because there was no where to hook to haul out of the mud. I also didn't like the spot where the oil filter is placed it is very hard to get to. I have to crawl under the truck and it is in between the steering box and a couple of other parts on the truck. I love the spray in bed liner. I never have had this feature on any other truck, but now I can't do without this option. It makes cleaning up messes in the back on the bed quite easy. Overall, this truck is worth every penny. I would buy again. It has been reliable for me for over 40,000 miles.
In the winter I was pulling my kids and my wife in the snow on a sled that was tied to the back of my truck, they said it was the most fun they have ever had.

The large bed with spay in bed liner. The back seat having plenty of room for up to three passengers.

No tow hooks on standard trucks. The oil filter location very hard to change oil in truck.
