I have always been a Dodge fan, and my previous two trucks have been RAM 1500s. This truck has been great. What I like about the RAMs are the performance and style. The rounded body style looks really good to me. I have two dislikes about the vehicle. The truck has a small radio, and the back-up camera shows in the screen, which is small compared to other brands. The other issue I had was a sensor that was bringing my check engine light on. I had to take it to the dealer numerous time before the issue was corrected.
Historia
First day I bought this truck, I had to try out the four-wheel drive, and it did not disappoint. I was able to get through the mud with no issues at all, and the four-wheel drive is easy to lock in.
A Favor
I love that this truck is four-wheel drive and that the motor is a 5.7 liter hemi. The gas mileage for the amount of horsepower is very acceptable. The interior is spacious and come with compartments in the floor, which are easily accessed. The truck tows really well and is equipped with a trailer brake feature, which is nice.
En Contra
There are a couple of cons that I personally do not like. One is the small touchscreen that was available on this model. The standard should be the seven-inch screen. The worst part is the back-up camera comes through the touchscreen, which is tiny and hard to see.

I never aspired to own a pickup. I didn't research which was best among all the various brands. I simply went to the lot and found one that looked nice. I settled on the 2014 Ram 1500. I love the Ram boxes. There's plenty of storage there for anything I might need. I went with a truck bed liner and added a tonnoeau cover as well. I even put a pad in there once I started hauling people around with it.
Historia
I used the truck to haul gravel from the quarry to my residence. I must have hauled 30 tons so far. It's been a blast with the dump trailer.
A Favor
The truck has a back up camera, which is excellent for attaching to a tow. I got myself a hydraulic dump trailer. The thing is excellent and works well with the Ram. The truck tows up to its listed weight with little trouble. I've hauled tons of gravel with it and haven't had any troubles. The interior is amazing. It's quite a luxury car. It has heated seats as well as air conditioning. The steering wheel is heated and the console screen is humongous. I like the modern digital options. It's a gas hog. The thing gets about 17 mpg, which is pretty good for a big truck. It took some time to get used to riding so high up. You're in quite a command position in the truck.
