I like my Subaru Forester mainly because I feel like my child is safe in it. I used Consumer Reports to identify the best safety vehicle and this ranked high and it hasn't disappointed me yet. The dashboard is modern however I had a little difficulty figuring out how to enter information and change settings at first. Figuring out how to change time settings was hard and is still hard, but I wouldn't tell someone to stay away from this vehicle if they wanted to buy. I feel the exterior is great quality. The interior, especially the trunk, could have been built a little sturdier. A year and some change of owning this car, and a piece from the cargo flap broke off out of nowhere.

I've wanted a crossover for awhile, and being in Upstate NY, I needed one with all-wheel drive—which meant I needed to look at Subaru's. I was not disappointed. First off, the blue color I found is amazing. The options, such as the sunroof, back up camera, and heated seats are nice, but the ability to link my phone to the car just knocks it out of the park. It drives well, very smooth on bumpy roads, and the seats are comfortable on long trips. Gas mileage is also amazing.
