This car handles well compared to our earlier cars, including a Hyundai Accent and an older SUV. I just feels like it sits low and tight to the road, gripping it well. The fuel economy is great; our gas bills went down quite a bit after we purchased the car. The seat heaters have come in handy over and over again. One of the most important features for us is that the trunk area fits a folding wheelchair perfectly. We didn't realize until later, though, that we need to cover the wheelchair with a protective cloth to prevent damage to the roof. Other useful features for the disabled include seats close to the outside of the car and at normal wheelchair height, making transferring easy.
