My spouse and I shopped long and hard for the perfect car. He wanted all the features one could possibly cram into a car, I was not willing to pay more than $40k... He wanted a luxury brand, I didn't care as long as it lasted and was safe. We finally settled on the Subaru Legacy. Subaru has been one of my favorite makes for a very long time, and this is my second Legacy. The price was spot-on, and we didn't have to sacrifice any features. Our whole family fits comfortably (even the adults can sit in the back with plenty of leg room), with plenty of room in the trunk for the stroller, my gym bag, yoga mat, and groceries. The absolute best part, though, is the Eyesight package. It does cost a little extra, but it is AMAZING and with how much it saves us on car insurance, it will pay for itself in less than two years.
