Subaru sucks.
Nothing about owning this car has been easy. It's uncomfortable to sit in (the seats are rock hard), the shocks don't absorb much at all and it rusts like crazy. Holes developed in the gas tank and I was told that I could try to patch it or else junk the car because it's so much work to fix a Subaru that it wouldn't be worth it to me. I got it patched and it started leaking again almost immediately so then I had to patch it again. It's junk for reasons beside this - it creaks and groans and rattles. The rear hatch is impossible to open so I have to put anything I want back there in over the rear seats and then pull it out again the same way. Actual driving is jerky and temperamental. The battery drains super fast, even after replacing it with a new one so I have to get jumped all the time. The only good thing about it is that the AC still works. I absolutely hate this car, what a waste of hard-earned money! I know it's an old car, but my Chevrolet Prism is only a year newer and runs quietly and efficiently.

Great all weather car!
The handling of the car, and its ability to handle all types of weather is unsurpassed, the durability as well has been great, my wife and I drove it across the country and fit everything we needed in it. It gets fairly good gas mileage as well and is a great car for a variety of uses from going camping, to towing a trailer to just going and buying a lot of groceries. The look of the car isn't too exciting, but that is about the only thing that one could find fault with the car.

Quite a Beast
The 2006 Subaru outback is most certainly a beast. I have to say that the engine will most definitely outlast the car itself. I drove it well over 120,000 miles with no engine problems at all.
The seating is COMFORTABLE! Which if you've owned a Subaru previously you know that is not necessarily the case. Most definitely a roomy vehicle, I have managed to shove livestock, straw bales and 5 wooden pallets into it with no problems. The perfect North Country vehicle if you don't want a truck.
Now the cons... There is a recall on the break lines, not a huge issue but you need to be aware. The throttle sensor going seems to be a common problem and will trip your check engine light. It's a pricey fix but doable. The car gets the classic Subaru rust as well (especially up north) but if you buy a Subaru you already know this.
I will also say that the all-wheel-drive in the Outback is awesome in the snow. Where I live we regularly measure our snow in feet and this vehicle blasts through snow covered roads no problem. I never once got stuck on my 40 mile commute in the winter, and that's saying something.
All in all if you want a good reliable vehicle with room to shove kids and almost anything else (including ornery livestock and hay to boot!), Then this is the vehicle for you. No pickup trucks required here!

I actually had a good experience here. I would rather the place have been in a better location, rather than so far out of the way, but that's beyond the performance ability of the employees. Right? Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase and I might even buy from there again. I just wish they were closer. The salesman I worked with was pretty good and I did get a better price than what my goal was. I always start lower than what I'm willing to pay. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the experience and I would recommend it to a friend or family member.

All of the employees that work at this dealership are very good at what they do and are very helpful. My family has purchased 2 cars at this location and had a very good experience both times. Every time one of our cars have needed repairs we take it to this dealership and get good service at a good cost. We know that they are reliable and won't charge us for things we don't need. The owner, Kitty, will answer her personal phone and answer any problems that you may have.

The customer service was great. I called ahead of time and told them what I wanted to test drive. When I showed up they had all the vehicles lined up with the keys in them for me to test drive without anyone going with me. The decision was mine and I felt no pressure.
