My car has performed well for me. It replaced a very unreliable Alero, and it performs significantly better than my previous car, even though it's a year older. The style is not too much to my liking (as it looks like something more appropriate for my grandfather), but I love the heated leather seats, moon-roof, and the wide dashboard. My car gets excellent gas mileage, with 30+ mpg highway minimum (and, one of the features of the dash is that you can track your mpg as you drive). The car has air conditioning and a programmable thermostat for easy temperature control. The seats are leather, with a built in heater, and are very comfortable to sit on. The moon-roof is also a nice feature, though I do not use it often. The only problem I have experienced with the Avalon regards filling the tank with gas- to fill up your tank, you have to pull a lever under the driver's seat to open the gas cover, and then the gas cap itself is not attached to the vehicle, so you have to be careful not to lose it. Other than that, the 2000 Toyota Avalon has been a reliable, comfortable vehicle, with great gas mileage.
