I like the four door accessibility seeing that I have a child and a two door car is inefficient. I bought the car from my grandfather and it was really well kept. There is adequate trunk space and plenty of room in the back. The middle console is nice and clean, and offers plenty of storage. The seats are not leather but soft suede which is great for a Texan resident. I do not like the gas mileage. I only drive to daycare and work, and I am pumping gas every week.

For a vehicle of its age, this 2000 Camry performs beyond expectations. Throughout my ownership of the vehicle there hasn't been a single instance of major mechanical or electrical failure. I have always taken the time to perform routine maintenance on the vehicle, which is likely part of why it has lasted as long as it has. A properly maintained Camry can very easily see you to 300,000 miles and beyond if you take good care of it. The fuel economy is decent by modern standards and relatively good for a 2000. The ride is smooth on city roads, though I wouldn't recommend taking it on unpaved roads as the car simply wasn't designed for this. (i.e. backwoods camping, older rural roads, etc.) The AC still blows nice and cool even after all these years, which is important to me given that I live in the Southwest. If there would be anything I could possibly complain about it would be that while driving at higher speeds there is a considerable amount of road noise audible within the cabin, however this should likely be expected on most older, "entry-level" vehicles such as this one. All in all I would say that if you want bang for your buck and don't mind driving something that isn't the most sleek-looking thing on the road a Camry is definitely the way to go. If you take good care of it then it will take good care of you and, barring any serious issues, get you from A to B to wherever else for many years to come.
