I love this little car!!!
I bought this car transitioning from a Ford Focus. I love the gas mileage. One-to-two hour road trips only take about a quarter of a tank of gas. I've driven from Louisiana to Illinois on three tanks of gas. It s a 14-hour drive. The steering is good, and I've never had any problems with the engine. The backseat is a tad smaller than I would like, but that is to be expected with a compact car. The trunk is very large for the size of the car, and we are able to pack all of our camping gear in the little car for a weekend trip which is saying a lot. A large cooler, a 12-person tent, clothes, and supplies all fit in with three people in the car as well. I love my little car, and it has given me no trouble at all in the five years I've owned. I haven't even had to change the breaks! I do wish the ride was a bit quieter, and the standard A/C has issues with the knobs breaking. Overall, I am very happy with this car.

This car was phenomenal. I bought it knowing Toyota had a great reliability record. After I first started driving it (it's a manual), I had absolutely no regrets whatsoever. Brand new it got 36 mpg. Even after 325,000, it's at 32 mpg. I check it all the time. It zips around town, and it drives so smooth. It shifts extremely smooth, too. What I didn't like was it wasn't as quiet for as much as I'm on the road. Also, everything was manual, so if I was alone and had to open the passenger window for a reason, I had to lean over and roll it down. Manual locks, etc. I had manual seats, which I actually prefer. Air conditioner worked so great, the engine worked great as well as transmission. It never left me anywhere, but I'm the type to always change my oil and filter at 3,000, keep my tires rotated, etc. That plays a huge part in why it's lasting so long. If I were to ever get another Toyota Corolla, I would want the exact car because I've driven new Corollas, and it was slow as a bug with no pep at all. I don't know why.
