The 2007 Toyota Highlander AWD provides reliability and flexibility. The AWD means it is safe on snow covered streets and gives you the ability to take it gently off road if you need to get to that hard to reach campsite. It has a third row seat which can fit 3 kids or 2 adults comfortably. The third row seat folds completely away when not in use giving you a generous amount of space in the cargo area. The middle seats have a 2/3 split fold design. A single seat folds down on the passenger side and the middle and driver's side seat can fold down separately. The only drawback is that it does not get very good gas mileage, about 18 city/24 highway. I am a short woman and I can see out of it very well and reach all the controls easily. The driver's seat has an adjustable lumbar support and tilt function, and the steering wheel can also tilt. It features electric windows, door locks, and a security system.
