I purchased my Toyota Highlander in 2004. It was the best decision I have ever made on a vehicle. This vehicle has been totally reliable and wonderful on gas mileage. The only work I have had done is regular maintenance, such as oil changes in almost 14 years.

It has been a fantastic vehicle overall. It has lots of space and drives very smoothly. It is very reliable, and I have not had any unexpected issues with it. The stereo is loud. The only complaint I have is the lack of cup holders in the front. I'm not sure why there are so many in the back but none in the front! Easily remedied by purchasing something to fit in the center console.
