I bought my Prius new in 2004, so it's now 13 years old. The only problems I've had have been with the starter battery (not the big expensive ones). The mileage is still low--just creeping up on 100,000 miles now, and I have it serviced regularly at the dealership. The power outlet may be going bad; I'm not sure yet. The car is reasonably comfortable and, of course, saves a lot of money on gas.
Historia
One time on a solo road trip, there was a Willie Nelson concert on the radio that was very enjoyable.
A Favor
The best thing is the gas mileage. The next best is the high-quality construction.
En Contra
There are only two negative things about the Prius. First, there's quite a bit of engine and road noise. Second, replacing the starter battery is unusually expensive. I believe it was about $300, and I believe I've had to replace it three times. One time, there were no batteries available anywhere, and the car sat at the dealership for a month! Also, it doesn't have all the latest features like a back-up camera.

This is by far the best car I've ever had. Even still 8 years later my mom still gets in my car and tells me how much she loves it. The gas mileage is great. We have taken our Prius on a road trip around the country and it easily held everything we needed for two weeks. We even had extra room. We were shocked but it passed our expectations.
Historia
We once fed a prairie dog Cheetos out of the car window and got an amazing picture. That was on our road trip across the country.

Gas mileage, long lasting.

Tight fit after you have twins. With all their equipment as babies it was a bit tight.
