Our previous car was a Prius, which we loved, so when we needed to replace it after over 300,000 miles, we definitely wanted another reliable car just like it. Our new (used) Prius obviously has a long way to drive before we know if it will be as solid and dependable, but what we know now is that it is comfortable, drives well, is more energy efficient even than our previous Prius and is amazingly roomy for a small car (we brought home a ten-foot Christmas tree inside the car). It is everything we want a car to be: a pleasant ride, low consumption of gasoline, quiet, and practical. And no matter what other people think, I think it is a good-looking car: a result of being built to be aerodynamic for energy efficiency. It looks like it just glides through traffic-which brings up another great thing about it: when we are stuck in traffic and not moving, the engine shuts off, so we are not wasting gas and spewing fumes into the environment while we're not going anywhere.
