Average, great mileage
I obtained my car when its mileage was around 140,000 miles, so the previous owner had plenty of use with it prior to me. I have few issues with the car. It handles responsively and accelerates on average faster than a typical gasoline powered vehicles due to the hybrid battery and engine system. It has a gas tank size of about 9 gallons, yet I can usually get around 320 miles to a tank. I like to think that with normal maintenance (oil changes, wheel rotations/changes), it doesn't need anything else to keep it going. My one grip about the car is that lately, whenever I park and turn off the car is a specific spot, the part of the car's computer which controls the dash (which has the speedometer, lights, etc.) will malfunction and not show the next time you start the car. This only ever happens in one specific spot however, so if I avoid parking and stopping the car in that location, I never experience this problem. The storage in the back is good, and the back seats fold down so you can store more - I camped outside with this car once, had enough room to back a tent, some foldable chairs, a cooler, and backpacks. Best part was I could run the car stationary, and you wouldn't smell the exhaust that you would get from other cars.

Great for a small family.
The Toyota Prius Hybrid is roomy and comfortable. The driving experience is very pleasant and quiet. It has get up and go and is very great on your fuel budget. I cut my fuel budget in half switching from a standard transmission '94 Infiniti sedan. It is very easy to service. You don't have to do anything to rake in those extra miles per gallon except tell it what an awesome job it's doing and check your oil every fuel stop. Because it does eat oil. Apparently, this is a standard issue for the 2008-2012 models. The engine is quiet when it runs. When you pull up to a stop light, it generally turns off the engine and runs on the battery, so you frequently hear literally everything around you. I like driving it in the city or outskirts for the best gas mileage. but it still rocks highway fuel points if you keep it under 75 mph. Above that, and you're looking at only slightly above average fuel consumption, which is still a pro. I have driven my used Prius nearly 30,000 miles, and it is still my dependable go-to car. It is a five-seater car. It is more comfortable for an adult to sit in the back seat than any other newer vehicle I have experienced. The only issue I have with sitting in the back is that the seat belts back there seem to really lock you into place, almost like you're in a jet about to take off or something. I have two small children just out of booster seats and a baby in a car seat, and they fit back there fine. Sadly, this does disable the use of the cup holders that are in the middle of the seat. It is a hatchback, and the back seats fold down. I have fit a rocking chair, several medium boxes and two suitcases in there in one trip. I've also moved a small desk and several other large and bulky pieces of furniture. And yes, it does come with a spare donut that fits so snug in its hideaway. You'd never know it was there unless you were absolutely determined to find it... The second time, after someone told you that it is supposed to be equipped with one. It is fantastic. Seriously, if you're thinking it looks or sounds intriguing, do yourself a favor and go test drive one. Bet you'll take it home with you. But do see if you can manage to get the 2012 model or later because adding oil can be a real hassle in freezing weather with a baby in the car or when you're in a giant hurry but know you forgot to add oil last time you fueled your car.

They work with the buying service through my bank. They are pretty easy to purchase from, this car was my second purchase from this dealership. They have a large inventory of cars, so they've always had pretty much what I wanted without compromising on anything like colors or features or extra packages.
