Overall, there is not much that I don't like about this car. The gas mileage has to be one of the shining features, I can go 200+ miles on one tank of gas, which before I purchased this car I would have thought impossible! The trunk is actually huge, and I have moved three times with dressers, bedframes, etc., and they all fit perfectly. The one disadvantage I would say is that the driver's seat height can not be adjusted (with the newer models they have modified the seat so it can be adjusted). Being on the taller side, almost 6 feet, it took some getting used to. The mirrors seemed a little low, and I felt as though my line of view was cut off some. After getting used to it, I don't even notice it anymore, but it is something to look out for if you're tall! My car now has over 170,000 miles on it, and it's running like a charm. When I bought the car it had 125,000 miles, which worried me a little bit. Believe me, if you're in the market for a Prius don't let the mileage scare you, these cars can go above and beyond others in the long lasting category. To this day nothing has happened, I've never had to take it into the shop for anything but oil changes. I would say that the Prius gets five stars on dependability, gas mileage and practicality!

I absolutely love my Prius. Living in the city, it is put through the test of stopping and starting over and over again. It has great pick up speed from red light to red light, I often notice I'm faster than other cars out of the gate. When you need to go fast merging onto a highway, it's a little slow. The interior is sleek and nice to the touch, the plastic is sturdy and easy to clean. I have to say, the speakers in this car are amazing. I blast the base and it's crisp and clean, people who pass comment that they had no idea it was coming from a Prius. The touch screen dash is one of my favorite perks. Everything you need is at your fingertips, and coming from a car almost 10 years old, that's spectacular. I've put 5,000 miles on mine in 3 months, and it's still going just as strong as it was when I purchased it at 135,000 miles. I drive for a living, spending 4-5 hours a day driving, and I still only need to fill up the tank once every week or two. It gets amazing gas mileage, I spend only about $30-$40 on gas a month, and that's driving hundreds of miles. The cost of maintenance is very low, parts are easily found, and everyone knows how to work on one.
