I think the Toyota Prius is a pretty dependable vehicle that is especially ideal for local driving. It may not be the most powerful or smoothest vehicle, but there's a nice sense of satisfaction that comes from sitting in traffic on the highway and having your engine be totally silent while it conserves gas. I appreciate the look of the car, as well, and its distinctiveness gives me a heightened sense of ownership.

The Toyota Prius is spacious, yet still compact and easy to drive. The trunk space is very large and the back seats fold down. This opens up lots of storage/moving options. The vehicle is a hybrid, so it gets great gas mileage. I usually average about 51 miles per gallon. My monthly gas expenses were cut in half after I purchased this vehicle. Also, since this car is a hybrid, it doesn't rely on the brakes often and that limits repair expenses. The vehicle has many safety features, including a back-up camera. The price is also reasonable compared to other similar vehicles on the market. While this is a great vehicle, it's not the best to drive in difficult road conditions. I live where it snows over half of the year, and there are many times where I decide to just stay home because of my car.
