1999 Toyota RAV4 - RAV4 Lover
I have now driven this car over 350,000 miles with very very few repairs. It is a nice "tight" little car that was well built and had no rattles when it was new. It has only just recently begun to rattle a bit but one has to expect that of a car that is o15 years old and has been driven 350,000 miles! It is very nimble and still has good power when trying to pass other vehicles. While small, it will carry an enormous amount of stuff. It gets great gas mileage. The fifth door makes it possible to load and unload groceries and other things in the back very easily. The center seats fold down allowing you to put larger objects in the back...Including enough camping gear for an eighteen day camping trip. Having the spare tire mounted on the back instead of inside or under the car makes it m... (more)

Took this car on my first and only trip to New York City. LOVED that I was able to squeeze it into tiny little parking spaces that other, larger vehicles could not get into. It meant I spent a lot less time circling around looking for a parking spot that I would have if I'd owned a larger car.
A Favor
Small and nimble. It's ability to carry a lot a gear. It high miles per gallon.
En Contra
The back passenger doors are cut a bit oddly making it awkward to get in and out of the back seat.
2013 Toyota RAV4 - Love my car!
I love my Rav 4 because of its appearance, audio system and infotainment systems, excellent driving manners, and good gas mileage. I love its strong resale value. The fuel economy and engine specs are also very good.

Car is great for ski trips. Seats fold down flat so you have enough room for people and gear!
A Favor
I have the LE, which is the more basic model, but it comes nicely equipped with 17-in steel wheels, cruise control, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, keyless entry, automatic headlights, AM/FM/CD touchscreen stereo with six speakers and an iPod/USB interface, rear privacy glass, Bluetooth smartphone connectivity, a rearview camera, a tilt-telescopic steering wheel, power folding mirrors and split folding and reclining rear seats. I don't feel like I skimped by choosing the LE!
En Contra
The engine is kind of a downside. This isn't a huge downside for me, but my boyfriend sometimes comments that it doesn't have a V6.
