Used Toyota RAV4 for Sale in Ottumwa, IA

I purchased my Rav4 new in 2007. I knew I wanted a Toyota because of their high safety ratings in the past. I also had never purchased a new car so this was a first for me. I liked the size of the Rav4--not too big for moving around in traffic and not too small for being able to see ahead and beside you by sitting high in the seat. I now have 155,600 miles on this car and have had no major repairs. I have only had to replace the tires twice and the brakes twice. I do not have any problems with blind spots as the rear view mirrors work well. The Rav4 always starts, even in the -30 degree weather. I can fold the rear seats down if I need loading space. I also like the ability to hide anything in the "trunk" by pulling the cover to the rear door. When I was working, I drove 80 miles per day round trip. The Rav4 got about 23 miles to the gallon, which was acceptable to me. I now use the car more for getting groceries and transporting my dog to the vet--he rides well in the back seat. The body of the car is in near perfect condition with only one small scrape on the rear fender due to my inability to see mailboxes near the road. The paint is still bright and shiny. The most important part of my Rav4 is that it is red; I never have a problem finding it in a parking lot amongst a sea of black, white, and silver cars. I don't like the spare tire on the back of the car. I don't have a rear camera, but I still love my Rav4.

I purchased my Rav4 new. I wanted a small SUV in red and have been delighted with it for over 11 years. I have about 168,000 miles on it. Most of those miles were highway miles as I was working about 40 miles away from my home for many years. I wanted a dependable vehicle that I could drive until it reached 200,000 miles.
