This truck has been great since day one. The gas mileage is fantastic, even with most of my commute being city traffic.

My 2002 Toyota Tacoma is a great vehicle for getting around town and getting small chores done. It is a basic model so it doesn't have a lot of extras, but it has been a reliable and comfortable car. It gets reasonably good gas mileage, but is rugged enough to haul off old furniture or yard trimmings. It is fun to drive, has cold air conditioning, a good stereo system, and a dampening system that limits noise in the cab of the truck. An added toolbox is highly recommended, particularly since I don't have much space behind the cab. I am glad to have a bed liner as well. Maintenance on the truck has been minimal since I purchased the truck, which is now nearing 150,000 miles. It is a comfortable car for commuting in addition to getting chores done around the house. Even though it's a compact truck, I have hauled large furniture items in the back. I like the look of the truck and it is an excellent color (sort of a silvery/gray champagne color). The single bench style seat is a drawback and I wish there was more storage space behind the seat, but overall it's a great vehicle.
